Job Description:

We’re looking for a Specialist, Risks and Controls to join Integrated Compliance Services team at MBPS. In this role, you are expected to lead data integrity initiatives and support the process, risk and control identification and documentation for business units in all Asian jurisdictions and North America.

Key Responsibilities:

This role reports to the Manager of Risk and Controls - Integrated Approach Program.

Lead data integrity initiatives to improve data quality and analytics in Archer (GRC tool) and provide training and support to stakeholders.

Support the process, risk and control identification and documentation for business units in all Asian jurisdictions and North America.  Specific duties include but not limited to:

Complete assigned engagements to document risks and control procedures in Archer that address identified compliance risks to assist in audit and regulatory preparation.

Maintain good working relationship with the process owners/stakeholders by consistent communication and timely coordination of activities, to ensure that the engagement is executed properly, and concerns are addressed on timely manner.

Assist in handling more complex tasks, issues, or special projects, conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure quality of output, and provide direction and guidance to junior members of the team.

Support the Integrated Approach Program's objectives and goals to effectively fulfill its mandates by working on other projects or tasks assigned by our stakeholder.

Qualifications:

Experience and Expertise: 2-4 years of experience in audit, risk, compliance reviews, and assessments. Strong knowledge of risk management, internal control, and audit principles.

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related fields.

Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and willing to acquire expertise in Visio; knowledge of Power BI and quality assurance experience are pluses.

Leadership and Collaboration: Ability to handle complex tasks and provide guidance to junior team members. Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills to maintain effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders.

Adaptability and Initiative: Quick learner with the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure and meet strict deadlines. Flexible and adaptable to change, with a strong understanding of cultural diversity.
