Reports  to:  Director, Talent Acquisition

Positions reporting to this position: None

Salary:  $70,000/yr.

Purpose of the Opportunity

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for identifying and attracting top talent using social media, professional associations, networking sites, and job boards. This candidate will partner with members of the Talent Acquisition team to discover, attract, and hire qualified candidates for positions at all levels. The Talent Acquisition Specialist also builds and maintains excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and candidates alike. The selected candidate will be responsible for identifying and attracting top talent using social media, professional associations, networking sites, and job boards.

Talent Acquisition

Conduct full lifecycle recruitment for assigned departments, actively manage candidates through the recruitment process to ensure a great experience for the candidate.Develop creative methods for sourcing a diverse group of high-quality candidates.Maintain candidate pipelines through direct outreach and general information sharing.Identify and attract top talent using a variety of methods: social media, professional associations, networking sites, colleges/universities, and job boards.Leverage online recruiting resources, external research, internal referrals, and in-house data to identify source talent and build pipelines. 

Building Partnerships

Build professional relationships with colleges, universities, community placement offices and internal stakeholders as prospective sources to attract qualified applicants.Partner with temporary staffing agencies as needed.Maintain professional relationships with hiring managers: regularly update and follow up on positions status.Organize and coordinate post-interview feedback from hiring managers with interview teams and candidates.

Onboarding

The onboarding process is a critical phase in the employee lifecycle, setting the stage for new hires to integrate into the company culture and become productive members of the team. The Talent Acquisition Specialist partners with others within the organization in order to play a pivotal role in this process, particularly during the pre-boarding, onboarding, and probationary period phase.

 

Data Analytics

Enter and monitor candidate pipeline metrics and KPI’s.Maintain accurate, organized documentation and record keeping on all candidate searches, hiring manager interactions, and other recruiting activities.Assist with the implementation of systems to streamline and improve internal procedures.

Communication

Focusing on long-term recruiting strategies, looking for the future, rather than just the current vacancies.Coordinating with hiring managers to identify staffing needs.

 

Essential Functions: 

Must be able to sit at a computer for the majority of the workday.

Qualifications:

Associate degree required – Bachelors preferredCommitment to Win’s mission, vision, and values.Three (3) years of experience full lifecycle high volume recruitment: sourcing, passive candidate identification, candidate vetting, and candidate development.Experience recruiting in a corporate or nonprofit environment is valued.Ability to embrace change with and influence positive outcomes.Ability to work collaboratively in support of a common goal.Demonstrated ability to proactively manage recruiting commitments to achieve multiple priorities.Strong verbal and oral communication skills.Excellent Microsoft Suite skills required.
