Specialist, Title

Here at IAA, an RB Global, Inc. company, The Lead Title Specialists plays a critical role in our vehicle life cycle process which includes processing and filing vehicle title documents, reviewing and following up on missing items, and identifying inventory reduction opportunities for our salvage auction facilities.

Lead Title Specialists embody our "will to succeed and "collaborative worker" values, by providing an outstanding customer experience through our various communication channels and helping IAA focus on business and branch growth.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to the following):

Serve as a point of escalation for all title matters. Analyze title work flow within a branch and interact with employees to suggest improvements. Complete applications for salvage titles. Complete the entire process of setting up the sales. Processes salvage titles from the state. Staying current with title/salvage laws in multiple states. Expected to correct reported title issues post audit. Participate in User Acceptance Testing to recommended changes to title applications. Basic digital literacy Time managing skills with the ability to balance workload Excellent written, verbal, and communications skills Thrives in a team environment with a positive, upbeat, and pleasant demeanor Review and process documentation for insurance and remarketing customers Process incoming salvage titles from multiple states and set for sale Keep up-to-date on title regulations by learning and maintaining knowledge of current title/salvage laws Provide excellent customer service and support by offering solutions and timely responses to external/internal partners

Minimum Requirements:

Extensive experience (5+) in title processing or comparable work experience Time management skills Excellent oral presentation and written communication skills essential Ability to function well as part of a team and independently Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Windows operating systems
 

Preferred Requirements:

1-2 years State/National title processing experience Certified Title Clerk (1-2 years) Previous knowledge in title and salvage title requirements Maintaining customer databases Title administration, title processing, or DMV experience Vehicle total loss/claims experience Intermediate Excel skills
