Specialist, Vendor Logistics Program

This position is responsible for developing vendor logistics. This includes driving the upselling of the vendor logistics (VL) service menu to local clients, handle current VL accounts and inquiries from the global commercial team.
Ancillary work scope includes helping to manage/track VLP dashboard, to assist Commercial Head to roll-out Commercial programs & vendors engagement program in market and manage sales discipline in the North offices

1. Upselling local accounts (80%

Responsible generating new vendor logistics business. Manage and develop the relationship with the local factories Monitor pipeline opportunities; support ad-hoc pricing; offer suitable VLP product bundles to factories/customer. Support the overall customer experience and support Commercial /KAM value proposition. Position APLL for access to the right stakeholders, influencers, and decision makers throughout the customer organization (where relevant).

2. Commercial program (20%)

Support Commercial Head to roll-out Commercial programs: Vendor logistics, Vendor engagement programs in relevant markets. Training product menu for customer service team Following up - monitoring customers’ activities and alert the sales responsible if there are any irregularities. Manage service contracts clients, and manage client data, PnL

Qualification*

Holder of University/ College Degree in Foreign Trade, Economics, Transportation, Logistics, or equivalent qualification. Min 5 Year working experience in international freight forwarding/ International logistics operations / Supply chain solutions.

Requirements*

Good communication & presentation skills in Vietnamese and English (oral, written and listening). Good knowledge of logistics industry in Viet Nam. High level of sales (process) discipline Attention to detail, high numerical / analytical skills, ability to analyze and synthesize information, sensitive to the trend of the market. Growth mindset. Pro-active, self-motivated, high learning agility, creative, passion of business, capable organization. Good negotiation skills. High interpersonal skills. Excellent customer service skills.
