Role Overview

The primary responsibility of this position is to enhance the capability of the RF Module and the Wave Optics Module, add-on products to COMSOL Multiphysics®. That is to identify, design, create, and document key features and methods for modeling and design of devices in high frequency electromagnetics. The successful applicant will be part of a team of electrical engineers, physicists and RF and wave optics experts, working in close collaboration with our expert teams in COMSOL's core functionality; geometry handling, meshing, rendering, and numerical solver development with a focus on performance and stability.

Qualifications

We are looking for applicants with the following qualifications:

A PhD or MSc in Electrical Engineering or Physics, preferably with several years of combined academic and professional experience in applied computational electromagnetics. A deep understanding of Maxwell’s equations and associated computational methods for device design in RF and microwave engineering and optics. Good technical-writing skills.

Familiarity with COMSOL Multiphysics® is a strong merit but not a strict requirement.
