Job Summary
REPORTING SPECIALISTPOSITION PURPOSE:
The Reporting Specialist will be responsible for effective and efficient performance of the Reporting team at Hyderabad SSC. S/he will also be responsible for distributing accurate and timely reporting, metrics and internal control reports as needed for the function globally. S/He will communicate within the team and to the stakeholders outside/inside of the SSC.
The Reporting Specialist will report to and receive functional guidance from the AR & Credit Operations Manager, ISSC.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Establishes reporting requirements and expectations with stakeholders, working with them to identify any issues or concerns and develop solutions to address them
Defines metrics and KPIs to be tracked and reported on a regular basis
Ensures accuracy and completeness of the data used for reporting
Develops and distributes reports to stakeholders in a timely and efficient manner
Ensures compliance with internal controls framework and regulatory requirements
Investigates and reports any internal control breaches or issues
Reconciles accounts and transactions on a regular basis, establishing and maintaining a reconciliation process to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
Provides accurate and timely reports on reconciliation results to stakeholders, developing solutions to resolve any reconciliation issue
Identifies opportunities and recommends improvements, focusing on efficiency, productivity & quality
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Requirements
Excellent English language skills, both verbal and written
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in AR, credit, finance and/or accounting
University degree, preferable in related field
Solid understanding of the systems used in the various sub-processes
Good Microsoft Office skills, with an excellent Excel working knowledge
Lean / Six Sigma Certification is considered a plus
