SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:

 

The Master Data member is responsible for the creation and maintenance of Master Data in SAP and performing various inventory related functions PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

 

The purpose of this position is to provide support to both internal and external customers, providing timely release of new customers, accurate and efficient response which will help them to achieve their requirements and to build good rapport with customers for growth of organization.Creation and maintenance of customers as per SLAEnsure timely release of new customersMaintain Customer Master Different Inboxes ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

 

Creates new customer accounts in the SAP, according to necessary screening and compliance checks.Release of new customers on SAPModifies customer account data in the ERP according to customer changes or business process changes (e.g., freight terms, output conditions)Maintenance of customers which includes reactivation, hierarchy maintenance and other activitiesGenerate Customer reports and handle all customer related queries to the groupResponsible for the data quality improvements and regular cleansing of customer master data.Should be responsible for generating accurate reports before deadlinesProper response on email queries received from the customers or internal teamMaintain a positive and flexible attitudeAny other additional tasks depending on the specific country or organization as requested by your senior authoritiesSupports master data harmonization initiatives.Manage mass uploads of dataMay need to Interact with the stakeholders for better understanding of the requestCoordinate with the different stake holders to synchronize the task to help them achieve their KPI Maintain & update process related documents in timely manner

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

 

Education:

Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in any disciplinary

 

Experience:

Minimum 4-5 years’ experience in handling Customer Master data

 

 

 

 

 

Desirable Skills:

 

Good in written and spoken English. Moreover, should have capability to work with team from different geographies and people from diverse backgrounds. Ability to effortlessly work across cultures - emails and phone etiquettesMust be able to work successfully with the overseas teams to transition new processes.The ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously while prioritizing the changing demands; demonstrate high sense of urgency

 

Technical Skills / Competencies:

 

SAP / Oracle user knowledge – Basic Proficiency expectedSome Basics of SAP TCodes and Oracle applications for Customer Master data.Navigating different transaction and screensAbility to perform right search as per requirementShould be able to enter data in the system with all the required parameters, under supervision       from experts. Understanding different T-Codes and its impact on the resultsShould have good knowledge in SAP / Oracle and all transactions which used for downloading the reports. 

 

Microsoft Office- Basic Proficiency expectedKnowledge of MS Word, MS Excess, MS-Excel and Power point.Should be able to make best use of MS office and excel in order to create Data analysis, reports, PowerPoint presentation, pivot table, VLOOKUP etc.  complex formulas, macros without any supervision.

 

Key Board Skills– Basic Proficiency expectedShould have excellent skills in operating keyboard and should be aware of all the keyboard shortcuts to achieve maximum throughput
