Key Responsibilities:

The Specialist - Cabin Systems Interiors is responsible for the development, implementation and auditing of aircraft interior projects to support the appropriate functionality, safety, and regulatory compliance of the flight attendant workplace and to promote customer safety and comfort onboard the aircraft. The Specialist will work with interfacing departments and aircraft manufacturers and integrators to determine cabin configuration, galley, lavatory, stowage, lighting, and crew rest design, along with customer-facing components for all new and reconfigured aircraft. The role will also support aircraft certification activities and work closely with the training and policy procedures teams to ensure cabin features are appropriately reflected in all manuals and training materials. The role will also analyze aircraft data trends while incorporating SMS risk analysis principles. The responsibilities for this position include:

Conduct new aircraft final interior inspection, induction, and conformity auditsSupport the development and implementation of aircraft interior projects to support flight attendants and customersServe as subject matter expert in aircraft interior programs and configurationsPerforms audits to ensure cabin interiors, systems, and equipment are in regulatory and company complianceCommunicate with flight attendants on cabin design and system issuesCollaborate with Engineering, Marketing, Network Strategy, Catering Operations, and other applicable departments to ensure all aircraft interior designs comply with company and regulatory standardsComplete comprehensive analysis across numerous data sources, summarizes information, identifies, escalates, and presents trends to Inflight leadershipEffectively utilize audit data to convey trends and analysis to both internal and external operational stakeholders, per Uniteds SMS program
