Program Planning Lead
**Profile Summary –** Ford is in the midst of a major modernization journey that will change the way we move material – this calls a major transformation from the ground up in the end-to-end Automotive Supply Chain. This will be a rapid, yet methodical transformation that will make Ford one of the most advanced automotive OEM with a state-of-the-art Supply Chain and Industrial Automation. As part of this journey, we are looking at enthusiastic candidates to run the Project Management role – the candidate will be the fulcrum who will ensure tracking, reporting and timely escalation to ensure all projects are meeting the timelines and budget. This role requires a blend of technical expertise in Project Planning process & tools, business acumen and a relentless drive to keep pace with Ford’s aggressive automation plan (AMR, co-bots, ASRS etc.,) In this role, the candidate will be responsible for meticulously managing and tracking end-to-end project status. The candidate will work closely with multiple stakeholders in North America, manufacturing leadership, and the Industrial Automation Head to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within scope (Cost and timelines). The ideal candidate should hold a PMP certification and have extensive project management experience, along with proficiency in project management tools. The candidate will be tracking the from inception till successful deployment – this starts with initial planning, business case preparation, supplier selection, installation, and deployment. The candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping automation strategy, ensuring successful implementation, and maximizing the value of automation solutions for our Plants. **Major Responsibilities –** + Develop, maintain, and oversee comprehensive project plans for automation and AMR deployments across multiple North American facilities. + Utilize project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Projects) to track project progress, identify potential risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. + Conduct regular project reviews with stakeholders, manufacturing leadership, and the Industrial Automation Lead to ensure alignment and address any challenges proactively. + Monitor project budgets, timelines, and adherence to agreed formats and documentation standards. + Facilitate open communication among teams to ensure transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle. + Identify opportunities for process enhancements and contribute to the establishment of project management best practices. + Flexibility to work in shifts as required to meet project timelines. + Work with Manufacturing Engineering and IT to include all plant constraints/ challenges and IT systems interface to support Manufacturing 4.0. Developing Ford standards, driving to include in Supplier’s scope and its execution. Aim to increase AI based technologies in automation strategy. + Ensure the lessons learned are logged and cascaded to wider team as learning for future implementations. + Develop visual dashboards for showing overall project status **Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field; MBA preferred. + 8 years of experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining Projects at a Lead role (preferably within automation or manufacturing sectors) + Proficient in project management tools such as Jira, MS Projects, or equivalent software. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. + Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams. + A proactive, go-getter attitude with a focus on delivering results. + Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Experience with cloud-based platforms and data analytics. + Strong business acumen and understanding of ROI analysis. + Knowledge in developing dashboards in data analytics tools (Power BI, QlikSense etc.,) + Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment. **Requisition ID** : 41843
