The Governing Body of this special needs secondary school wish to appoint Specialist Class Teachers on a permanent contract to start in either April or September 2025.

This is a school for approximately 110 pupils with severe and complex needs and related disabilities and health problems, ranging from 11-19 years of age.  We require Teachers, preferably with relevant experience, to join our very friendly and supportive team.  Applicants should have experience of working with pupils with severe learning difficulties and complex and challenging behaviour.   The post holders will undertake a curriculum co-ordinator role, with subject(s) negotiable dependent on areas of strength.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment.  These posts require an enhanced DBS check.  Full induction will be given with opportunities for further training.
