Specialist EHS [F/M/X]

What will you do?

As an EHS Specialist, you will be part of a dedicated team focused on Environmental, Safety & Health (EHS) management. You play a crucial role in supporting the organization in complying with EHS regulations and environmental permits. You work closely with EHS representatives and other experts to ensure a strong compliance culture.You are responsible for:

Managing EHS and environmental permits Providing project support related to environmental permits Maintaining contacts and negotiating with external authorities and government agencies Coordinating internal government inspections Continuously improving the EHS regulatory compliance process Supporting document control processes within EHS Leading and coaching teams of EHS representatives Conducting EHS risk assessments Providing EHS training on relevant topics

 

You have the following requirements:

A completed HBO (Higher Professional Education) degree An additional Safety Manager level 3 ("HVK") course or equivalent is a plus Excellent command of Dutch and English, both verbal and written Experience with contacts with government agencies Knowledge of EHS permitting processes and regulations Experience with international management system standards such as ISO14001 and ISO45001

Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.
