About the Role


Reporting to the Engineering Superintendent Governance & Technical Stewardship, you will be responsible for providing specialist technical expertise to the operation. This will involve the execution of tasks associated with providing civil structural engineering technical support and ensuring a robust risk and benefit based assessment process is followed for engineering applications.

This role is based at Caval Ridge Mine on a 4/4/4/2 roster, offering flexible working arrangements.

In this role you will:
 

Review Asset Integrity work package, prioritise remediation work and provide remediation methodologies to Maintenance Execution team; Conduct Risk Control Verification activities, liaising with Risk Owners and develop remediation strategies to close gaps; Govern Asset Integrity data in SIMple (web app for Structural Integrity work, including extracting all data, analyse individual reports, close out actions in the system; Liaise with Vendors to conduct inspection on site, capturing defects identified, and escalate where required; Preparing monthly stakeholder meeting with Leadership team, informing progress of Execution work; Conduct field leadership and ‘Layered Audit’ which is a desktop verification analysis on ‘Work As Done’ against ‘Work As Intended’

About You


Skills & Other Qualifications:
 

Solid Technical Engineering/Consulting Engineering background;

Proficient in interpreting Structural Inspection reports, conducting Structural design reviews and providing guidance on Technical Civil/Structural Engineering matters;

Holds Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Civil Structural) as a minimum, CPEng and/or RPEQ is ideal but not essential;

Proficient in Excel, MsWord, ppt;

Intermediate skill in Power BI.
