We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Specialist Engineering.

Principal Responsibilities

In this role you will:

Have the technical skill to review, verify, and validate the software code developed in the projectTroubleshooting techniques and with the ability to fix, test and deploy code bugsEncouraging and building automated processes wherever possible?Experience with Automating Testing and deployment pipelines using DevOps tools such as Jenkins/AnsibleKnowledge of HSBC Governance on Cloud service usage and Security measuresWork with IT Service owner to identify opportunities to automate manual tasks, understand how control gaps can be managed/addressed, automate service monitoring etcInteract with technical team of vendor managed servicesInteract with colleagues in Corporate Real Estate and identify opportunities to bring business value

Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipelineExperience of working in DEVOPS environment - Programming / configuration management and pipelinesExperience of working in Production Support Team Good working knowledge with an Agile Framework such as ScrumProgramming / configuration experience with at least 2 of the following technologies: Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Low Code No code platforms, APIs (Mulesoft), .NETUnderstand Rest APIs, Strong implementation background and experience with CSP based ETL jobs

Ability to work independently. Internal HSBC knowledge and experience in a Technology area. Has worked within globally diverse teams
