Your role:

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Specialist Field Engineer to join the team covering the UK & Ireland territory. In this role you will carry out Clinical / Custom project activities, ensuring best-in-class service and installation of Lab Water purification systems to ensure customer satisfaction and minimise down time.

 

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

Install, troubleshoot, and maintain Lab Water purification systems and equipment feeding Clinical analysers, ensuring compliance with training, SOPs, ISO standards, EHS rules and regulation to maximizing first time fix rate.Interact closely with the Project team and Clinical sales specialist to develop a standardised solutions for the customer’s requirements.Visit clinical problem sites across the territory to develop a long-term solution.Work with the training team to enhance clinical training for the Field Service team.Prepare keys indicators and participate in regular meetings to give feedback on the performance and direction of all upcoming and ongoing installations and technical issues.Interact closely with the in-house team to ensure installations and maintenance activities are completed to the required deadlines.Define and manage a dedicated clinical car stock to maximise first time fix rate.

 

Who you are:

Bachelor’s degree in an engineering subject is essentialPrevious Experience on Medical devices in a clinical environment (Clinical analysers, scanners, X-Ray) is preferred but we will consider candidates with experience with complex lab equipmentProject Management qualification is preferred (Lean Six Sigma, Project Management Professional or equivalent).Experience with technical drawing and project tools (AutoCAD, Visio, Microsoft project or equivalent).Medical devices equipment installation and troubleshooting.Chemistry knowledge would be advantageous.
