Job Description:

The Undersea Systems (USS) division is looking for a new FP&A analyst to join their team.  USS is a $800M business with locations in the US, Italy and Australia that reports into the Maritime Sector. This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious person that wants to be a part of a dynamic portfolio of maritime programs (FFP/CP/TM/Development). USS FP&A currently reports to the USS Finance Director and has 1 other Principal analyst.  Position can be in one of multiple locations:  Herndon, VA, Millersville, MD, Goleta, CA, Northampton, MA.

Essential Functions:

Ability to improve processesManage monthly deliverables requirements ensure timely submittalsReview program and division level Orders, Sales, OI, ROS and Cash forecastsValidate forecasted ROS ties to previously approved EACsCompare current, prior and AOP forecasts and describe differencesWork with teams to solidify CapEx and Discretionary forecasts in systemFCSTGov and HFM - ensure program attributes are correct, actuals tie to accounting records and systems are tied out each monthAssist with requests from Sector and Segment as neededMaintain high attention to detailBusiness partner to BD, Program Management and Contracts

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.Prior experience in the Aerospace, Defense or Production facilitiesPrior experience in Program Finance or FP&AAdvanced command of Microsoft Suite (Excel, PPT, Word, etc)

Preferred Additional Skills:

Prior experience using finance tools such as: SAP, Hyperion (Forecasts/HFM)

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $58K - $108K. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
