As a Call Center Customer Service Specialist within the Fraud, Collections, Retails & Card Services team at Chase, you will be tasked with providing outstanding service to our valued customers. Your duties will include swiftly addressing customer inquiries, honing your customer engagement and problem-solving abilities. You will play a pivotal role in managing customer transactions, which will encompass everything from fraud investigation to collections, payments, and loans, ensuring a diverse and stimulating work setting.
Job Responsibilities
Works in a call center environment that requires 100% phone-based customer interactionDemonstrate excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills, while staying engaged with our customersCommunicate with customers in a metrics-driven environmentNavigate multiple technologies while demonstrating resiliency and extreme adaptability in a fast-paced environmentTake ownership of each customer interaction while treating them with respect and responding with empathyWork both independently and in a team environmentAbide by all applicable regulatory and departmental practices and proceduresRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills:Computer experience required, utilizing multiple computer applications in a Windows-based environmentCompleted at least 2 years in college or, Completed the K-12 Curriculum or,High school graduate with 1 year customer-interfacing work experience or,Completed a 2-year vocational/certificate course with 1 year customer-interfacing work experiencePreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Ability to multitask using a computer and simultaneously provide customer supportComfortable in a fast-paced, consistently changing environmentPrevious experience working in a Hospitality, Restaurant or Retail industryHave a passion for helping people by solving problems, presenting, and explaining solutionsWork Schedule:Candidates must be willing and able to work schedules during our operating hours, which may include evenings and weekends, or night shifts/US-friendly shifts. Specific schedule information will be provided by the Recruiter.This position requires that you attend trainings as scheduled. Training hours may not coincide with your regularly scheduled hours.
