Due Diligence underwriting activities may vary by review scope across the various service line offerings of SitusAMC (legacy compliance, credit, credit & compliance, title, collection comments, pay history, data, forensic, consumer, etc.); however, generally, this role’s activities will include the identification of the proper documentation for data capture, the capture of such information within a SitusAMC system or other designated area (including a client system), running embedded rules and logic against such information, and clearing validations and/or applying exceptions that may be appropriate for the item in question. This is a Part-Time role.
Essential Job Functions:
+ Review loan packages, underwriting guidelines, or data files to identify the documentation necessary for the review.
+ Capture required information from such information (which may include bookmarking the relevant pages where such information can be located) in a designated place which will usually be an AMC or client designated system.
+ Run system logic against information captured and handle any exceptions that may come from the application of this logic against the data captured. Apply exceptions and handle validations where necessary to ensure a complete and accurate review.
+ Elevate questions to the UWQs email group when such items arise
+ Identify problems with files and/or job notes to the AVP, TM and/or CSM overseeing your engagement
+ Ensure a full and accurate review
+ Accurate tracking of the time spent on reviews
+ Knowledgeable of the principals and compliance regulations and documentation applicable to mortgage lending
+ Interpretation and validation of income, assets, and liability documentation to support underwriting decision
+ Review appraisal to support value and all other real estate owned
+ Familiarity with fraudulent red flags and outside services used to determine or verify fraud
+ Ability to read and evaluate payment histories and servicing comments
+ Ability to meet production quality and service standards
+ Such other activities as may be assigned by your manager
Qualifications/ Requirements:
+ College degree / training in finance / mortgage banking preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
+ Entry-level support staff with 0-2 years of relevant experience
+ Experience in underwriting/due diligence/secondary market and preferred fraud investigative review
+ Self-motivation and reliability
+ Flexible working hours
+ Excellent PC skills and possess high level of proficiency in Microsoft products
+ Strong communication (written and oral) skills
+ Analytical ability and good judgment
+ Detail oriented and organized
+ Demonstrate professional behavior and teamwork, punctual, dependable

The annual full time base salary range for this role is
$25.00 - $25.00
Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and alignment with market data. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and SitusAMC Senior Management approval. SitusAMC offers PTO and paid holidays, the terms of which are set forth in the program policies. All full time employees also are eligible to participate in various benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance and 401K; in each case in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
