Functional Responsibilities To provide excellent credit & collection activities to Copeland customers by:Timely follow up on aging accounts for post collection
Pre-due date courtesy calls for pre-collection.
Provide accurate information and proactive assistance to customer inquiries and request.
Proper, accurate, and timely information processing
Utilizes knowledge and system resources to walkthrough customers and verify symptoms and issues.Review and Release orders related to assigned accounts that are placed on hold in a timely manner. Assess the account standing and provide appropriate recommendation for orders/shipments that are placed on hold.Maintains and administers customer account database through system tool. Ensure required information is entered into central database pertaining to customer issues or requests.Individual transaction management based on client agreement.Escalates technical or non-technical problems that are unable to be resolved on the spot to proper escalation channel.Escalates delinquent customers to team leader, supervisor and division POC for warranty cancellation, credit-hold, credit limit decrease, etc.Adheres to client’s defined processes & procedures and Copeland policies.Adheres to support workflow to achieve/exceed Business unit’s expectations on performance:o Past Due Reduction
o Cash Goal
o Call Goal
Assist in Training of new hires and/or collection trainees.Serves as back-up for Business continuity.Create month-end reports, AR reconciliation and journal entriesSend monthly AR balance to Intercompany clientsPrepare aging reportOperational Excellence
Ensure that all process documents and training materials are updated related to support function.Identify proper escalation channel for various issues.Engagement and participation in generating process improvements to improve team’s efficiency.Ability to train new hires based on division processes and procedures.Ability to identify proper escalation channel for various issues.May initiate contact with customers or outside vendors/organizations to obtain necessary documentation or information.
