Job Description:
The Deployment Specialist II participates in all stages of the implementation lifecycle for exports (discovery, configuration, testing, deployment, post-go-live support) to review technical readiness in the customer's environment, under the direction of the Project Manager, and may lead one or more activities. Project responsibilities include; gathering customer requirements, configuring the technical components of the NextGen solution, ensuring infrastructure readiness meets specifications, setting and managing customer expectations regarding the technology and how it will reside in the production environment, knowledge transfer to the customer System administrators and IT staff, troubleshooting issues throughout the implementation cycle and identifying risks and communicating issues to the Project Manager.Job Responsibilities:
Document and validate customers’ requirements and map to NextGen functionality.Creating a system blueprint and dataflow diagram for each projectConfigure/Upgrade Nextgen Enterprise solution along with client specific components involved in upgrade.Conduct consulting sessions (on the phone and in-person) to ensure technical readiness of the solution/upgrade for productionAttend internal project meetings and provide status on progress of activities and deliverables.Ensure infrastructure meets technical specifications and best practicesComplete new release training on a timely basis; be fully versed on new and/or enhanced functionality in each product releaseEngage with multiple projects & customers at the same time and manage priorities.Education Required:
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Degree.Experience Required:
3-5 years of experience in Healthcare IT3-5 years of experience in Implementation/Upgrade Projects3-5 years of experience with MS-SQL (T-SQL, Query Analyzer, writing stored procedures, and troubleshooting T-SQL code)Desired Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Must Have:
Excellent communication skillsAbility to engage with multiple projects & customers at the same time and manage priorities.3-5 years of experience with MS-SQLT-SQL, Query Analyzer knowledgeKnowledge of writing / debugging stored proceduresTroubleshooting T-SQL codeKnowledge of Healthcare terminologiesGood to have:
Experience in performing Enterprise upgrades with Allscripts/Cerner EHR/EMR AccountsKnowledge/Experience of NextGen Enterprise EHR/EMRExcellent organization, communication, and collaboration skills. Industry certification in Networking, SQL, AWS/Azure, etc.Experience in SaaS / Cloud computing environment.Work Environment:
