Job DescriptionThe purpose of this job is to, with supervision from the manager, communications business partner, consult with core business partners to develop and execute internal communications.
Support core business areas with the development of communications plans and written materials to inform and educate team members, including: leader communications and talking points, internal company messaging, presentation materials and company meetingsAssist with planning and providing communications support for internal company and business area town hall meetings, including material and message developmentAssist with developing and executing internal communications support for the company’s key initiatives in collaboration with the strategy realization office and business area expertsWrite and prepare internal communications and company materials, ensuring they are high quality, accurate and according to style guidelinesCollaborate with marketing communications team to develop comprehensive and integrated communications campaigns that leverage a variety of internal and external channels and mediumsContribute to the measurement and analysis of the impact of internal communications on employee engagement and business objectives in collaboration with data analytics teamContribute to and assist with maintaining the internal communications calendar for core business areasAssist in the maintenance of company communications guidelinesAssists in the planning, coordination and execution of internal employee events as needed and appropriateModel behaviors that support the company’s common purpose and virtues; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest levelEnsure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and proceduresComplete other duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor’s degree in corporate communications, public relations, journalism, English, or similar field requiredMinimum two – three years’ experience in a company communications role required, internal communications experience preferredDemonstrated previous experience in writing communication contentAdvanced Microsoft Office skillsProficient in Associated Press (AP) Style writingDemonstrated ability to think critically and adapt plans to best meet the needs of the businessDemonstrated ability to execute on multiple projects simultaneously and consistently deliver high quality resultsExtremely detail orientedExcellent oral and written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills and ability to expand relationshipsStrong editing skillsSelf-motivated and results driven and able to work independently with some supervisionAdditional InformationTravel required less than 25%General office work requiring sitting or standing for long periods of time
