Project Overview: Support projects and day-to-day activity on any instances of JDE World Role Scope / Deliverables: World Soft Developer will be key in delivering IT projects, developing technical solutions, and providing guidance to the internal World Soft development team. The task involves working with various project teams to determine and build a robust World Soft development process across multiple JD Edwards and World Soft applications and manage deliverables to be met on time. World Soft Developer will collaborate with business process owners and other World Soft functional teams to develop World Soft development methodologies to meet business needs. Additional skills required are Menu Masking, EDI integrations (Inbound and outbound), Overlays, well experience in day-to-day production support, reading and creating XML documents in JDE world applications. Key Skills: • 5+ years of JD Edwards World Soft development experience. • Demonstrate a proven ability to support World Soft development on the A7.3 version of JD Edwards World Soft. • Must have experience in following World Soft ERP SDLC. • Ability to work with cross-functional teams to develop a strategy and maintain World soft application technical development life cycle. • Proven ability in documenting all solutions in World Soft development practices to the IT project team, change management, and other integration and release teams. • Ability to diagnose and resolve operational issues, perform detailed root cause analysis, respond to suggestions for enhancement, and create recommendations for solutions to requirements and/or problems that impact code owned by the development team. • Must have proven experience to perform code reviews, and follow best practices within the team. • Must have a working knowledge of World Soft change management. • Must have experience in RPG/400, RPGLE, CL/400, CLLE, QUERY/400, DB2/400, OS/400 & Basic SQL queries to interact with the database. • Well exposure on Overlays, EDI process (inbound/outbound), SQL queries to interact with • database.
