Nature & Purpose of Position Assists with the digital updates of building blueprints and campus maps. Provides technical support for the Campus Space Planner and Project Coordinator(s) in space planning and campus construction. Primary Responsibilities Prepares detailed layouts of campus buildings and maps. Updates existing drawings with construction and renovation changes. Develops layouts for room and hallway directional signs in buildings. Prepares evacuation drawings for campus buildings. Makes scale calculations for updating the primary campus map with new construction. Produces prints of maps and building layouts to meet customer requirements. Trains student AutoCAD assistants when necessary. Organizes department’s plan room and oversees equipment repairs. Performs other related duties as assigned.
