SPECIALIST III – EH&S
THE SPECIALIST III – EH&S WILL . . .
Provides and recommends input to departmental resources on EH&S related mattersImplements measures to help protect employees from potentially hazardous work methods, processes, or materialsInvestigates accidents to identify root causes, reports results to management, provides recommendations and implements the necessary corrective actionsInspects and evaluates workplace environments, equipment, and practices in order to ensure compliance with safety standards and government regulations and provides recommendations for improvements, and implements those improvementsSupports engineers/management in the institution of control and remedial measures for hazardous and potentially hazardous conditions or equipment Supports management and/or leads the EH&S training of employeesParticipates and/or leads in multi-discipline problem solving teamsPerform all other duties and special projects as assigned.REQUIREMENTS FOR THE SPECIALIST III - EH&S
High school diploma required.2- or 4-year degree in related safety science field, engineering or manufacturing preferred.5+ years of safety or manufacturing experience.
