Job overview and responsibilities

The role of Staff Representative – Inflight Administration provides leadership to the Inflight safety team through the ongoing administration and advocacy for Regulatory Compliance, Safety programs (ISAP, FA-FRMP), our Safety Management System (SMS), Analysis of Safety Data and ongoing quality assurance processes.

Support the Inflight Fatigue Program through the investigation and collection of needed information to prepare reports for committee voting.Organize and schedule weekly, monthly, and quarterly safety meetings.Send correspondence for any resulting action items, including payroll, response to submitters, and base communications.Prepares appropriate documentation for safety reporting appeal processesEnsure coding for flight attendant schedules are accurateComplete proactive and reactive SAFTE-FAST report preparation and analysisCompiles quarterly review deck for the Fatigue programAssists in all analysis for safety program administrative support to include Irregular Operation Report (IOR), Occupational Injury Support (OIS), and Regulatory Reporting Support.Entry of Customer Alerts into tracking spreadsheet for processingConstruction of presentation decks for all Safety Management System (SMS) meetingsVerify incoming injury report accuracy on a weekly basis within the Occupational Injury System (OIS), in addition to completing a monthly review to ensure accuracy of injury coding by third party vendors.Generate and analyze in-depth data charts for monthly Inflight Safety Recap leadership report.Manage the accountability process for reporting due dates for Infight’s Safety Management System documentation within Uniteds central safety data base.Entry of SMS information into data base. This includes, Safety Risk Assessments, mitigations and supporting documentation as it pertains to the completion of records.Verification of due dates with process owners on SMS trackingTrack badge scanning data and provide updates to base leadershipEngage and coordinate with Inflight department leadership and process owners to ensure timely completion of applicable Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance processes.
