Join our dynamic Information Security Governance, Risk and Compliance Team and contribute to the ongoing development and execution of Arla’s Information Security agenda.

We are looking for a dedicated Information Security Specialist who is passionate and eager to make a meaningful impact on how we secure our digital ecosystem. In this role you will focus primarily on

IT risk management, while supporting broader governance and compliance initiatives across Arla’s

IT & digital landscape.

This is a permanent role positioned as part of our Information Security Governance, Risk and Compliance Team, within the IT department, part of Finance Legal IT and Strategy organization unit.

 

How you will make an impact

You will play a key role in ensuring that IT risk management processes are well-integrated into projects, vendor engagements, and broader security governance efforts. You’ll help build a strong foundation of risk awareness across teams and support Arla’s compliance with relevant regulations and security frameworks.

You’ll work closely with colleagues from IT Security Operations, Identity & Access Management (IAM), Risk & Compliance teams or Agile Release Trains in Arla, to help ensure that information security risks are identified, assessed, and managed proactively.

 

You will specifically:

Support the development, operation, and continuous improvement of the IT risk management framework. Conduct security reviews, ensuring evolving threats, compliance gaps, and control deficiencies are identified, continuously monitored and addressed. Ensure comprehensive mapping and tracking of risks, controls, and remediation actions in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Perform and document IT risk assessments across systems, services, processes and projects,

evaluating potential impacts on various domains and recommending mitigation actions.

Provide input and advisory to create rules for IT security policies, standards across IT domains. Help align internal controls and monitoring practices with regulatory expectations. Collaborate closely across Information Security team, supporting broader initiatives of

Cyber-security programme at Arla, such as: Access Control, Asset Management, Incident Response, IT Continuity Management, Zero Trust Architecture etc.

Furthermore:  

Master’s degree within Information Security, Cybersecurity, IT or a related field 2-5 years of experience in Information Security or GRC roles, working with IT risk management. Experience with risk assessment tools and techniques - would be a plus. Strong understanding and practical application of compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIS2, GDPR, or NIST. Ability to analyse risk scenarios and translate them into actionable recommendations and mitigations. Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and regions. A proactive, analytical mindset, structured way of working with attention to detail and a drive to follow through. Eagerness to grow within a fast-paced international environment. Experience in Agile delivery methodology - would be a plus,   Fluency in English (spoken and written).

 

Please note that this role requires you to be in the office 50% of the time + one additional day (monthly).
