Job Title: Specialist, Logistics Job Code: 21014 Job Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado Job Description: L3Harris Technologies Inc. is seeking an experienced Logistics Engineer to join our logistics team in supporting Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities on the Maintenance of Space Situational Awareness Integrated Capabilities (MOSSAIC) contract. The Logistics Engineer will support the USG customer by providing technical expertise to monitor, review, and manage Logistics requirements as a Contractor Inventory Control Point following the principles of the Contractor Supported Weapons System directives. This includes ensuring the timely cataloging of all property with a valid National Stock Number, supporting Logistics Reassignments for common-use parts, ensure accurate system records are in place in the inventory management system to compute and electronically push retail stock level data using Readiness Base Level (RBL)methodology, and providing total item management to include validating site requisitions, redistribution orders to retail & wholesale activities as well as tracking overdue shipments. Essential Functions: The Logistics Specialists duties include but are not limited to: + Manage property within Contractor Inventory Control Point (C-ICP) requirements + Management of depot spares and distributing new field/site spares + Stock listing of all new parts + Management of supply system parts and entering new parts into the supply system + Manage Source of Supply activities + Manage property within Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) requirements + Closely coordinate with Contractor Inventory Control Point, Property Management, DPAS and GOLDesp Administration for the tasks involved with C-ICP management + Proficient using several DoD and commercial logistics tools and databases: FedLog, WebFLIS, D043/D143, GOLDesp as well as Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE), Integrated Logistics System-Supply (ILS-S), DPAS, or similar enterprise property management systems + Provide direction and training for team supporting C-ICP activities + Provide status briefings to the government customer + Manage all key supporting data elements within GOLDesp for C-ICP property + Validate required data fields for C-ICP managed property + Exercise logistics support utilizing standard practices and processes + Provide analysis using logistics tools and metrics + Record logistics transactions utilizing GOLDesp inventory management system Qualifications: (refer to Career Framework (https://my.l3harris.com/CareerFramework/) ) + Active SECRET security clearance + Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience. + Experience in logistics analysis, utilizing logistics databases and toolsets (GOLDesp toolset or similar database) + Understanding of C-ICP processes / requirements Preferred Additional Skills: + Experience developing and maintaining Logistics Management Information using Federal Logistics Information System (FLIS) guidance and MIL-PRF-49506 + Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles, including demand planning & forecasting, inventory control, and transportation management + Understand drawing and specification hierarchy + Familiar with ITAR policies and procedures + Analyze logistical data related to item management, including usage trends, demand forecasting, monitor inventory levels to maintain optimal stock while minimizing excess or obsolete inventory + Prepare and present reports on supply chain status, item availability, and logistics performance to management and stakeholders + Ensure adherence to all statutes, FAR, DFAR, DoD, USAF, USSF, and relevant policies & procedures affecting logistics to maintain Financial Improvement Audit Remediation (FIAR) compliance + Proficient in Microsoft products (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.) In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $56,000 - $104,000 This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
