Job DescriptionSeeking a suitably qualified, experienced, and reliable Specialist-Maintenance Planning who will be responsible in the maintenance planning of all equipment maintained by the department which includes the surface mobile and equipment, underground mobile and fixed plant equipment, communications and IT, and camp facilities equipment. The role will report to the Supervisor – Planning.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
Planning and scheduling of all maintenance work through computerized maintenance management system-Pronto Xi, to ensure resources are prioritized in accordance with the maintenance strategyEnsure planned routine maintenance, non-routine maintenance, breakdowns, approved modifications are scheduled to be undertaken with minimum disruption to the mining operationEnsure that parts, equipment, materials and tooling are allocated to the correct job before work is placed on the weekly work schedulePrepare and issue weekly maintenance schedule to execution team, contractors and other affected department, monitors compliance to weekly schedules and general maintenance effectivenessLiaise closely with the Supply Department to ensure expediting of outstanding orders, a continuity of supply of all replacement parts and spares levelling strategiesSupport day to day functions of the whole section of Asset Management Department as required by the Planning SupervisorQualificationsBehaviour consistent with OceanaGold Values and the OceanaGold WayGraduate of Engineering (i.e., Mechanical, Electrical, Civil), Licensed is an advantageMinimum of five (5) years in maintenance planner role; maintaining surface and/or underground equipment (e.g., light / heavy mobile equipment, pumping stations, underground ventilation fans, electric motors, electrical starters, etc.) or other related industryWith a valid Professional Driver’s License is an advantageExperience in maintaining Mobile Equipment Fleet, Fixed Plant Equipment, Communications, Automation and Camp facility equipment is highly regardedPreferably coming from Mining or related industryKnowledge in Computerized Maintenance Management SystemExperience in PRONTO is an advantageUnderstand Mobile Equipment, Mechanical and Electrical equipment installation, and general partsAdditional InformationHighly attractive remuneration package inclusive of health and life insurance benefitsGreat opportunities for career advancement with an international mining companyFriendly roster with great onsite foods, accommodation, and with transport from point of hire is provided for non-Didipio residentsProfessional development skills training opportunities providedOGC VALUES: CARE | RESPECT | INTEGRITY | PERFORMANCE | TEAMWORK
