The Specialist Material Management is responsible for indirect material activities at the site. They ensure supply continuity within agreed timelines, technical, cost and quality targets. Responsible for PO creation and follow-up with suppliers, as well as invoicing. They also act as backup within the purchasing team.

 

As a key player for the organization, this position creates and maintains strong relationships with internal and external partners.

Responsibilities Develop purchasing process for different departmentsSupport stock management optimization projectUpdate and maintain master data for stockable itemsBe the 1st point of contact for suppliersMaintain a good relationship with both internal and external stakeholdersCreate Purchase Orders according to internal customers’ requestsCreate and maintain PO follow-up toolTreat relevant pending invoices in invoicing system (Basware)Resolve daily issues related to purchase activitiesLaunch and manage value creation initiatives / identify potential savingsReview and negotiate each offer up to 15k USD Qualifications

Experience / Education  

Experience in a similar role in a Purchasing/Procurement departmentBachelor’s or master’s degree in supply chain, preferably in Procurement.Sharp and attentive to detailWritten and spoken fluency in both French and EnglishFlexibilityStrong organizational skillsBe customer-orientedAbility to multitask and manage multiple deadlinesAbility to work as a team member, be able to share information, and support colleagues when neededCapabilities to work autonomously
