Specialist - Outreach-Fixed Term
Position Summary MSU School of Criminal Justice is seeking an individual to help manage outreach and training and technical assistance programs. The School of Criminal Justice has a number of research and training and technical assistance projects that rely upon the close collaboration between MSU personnel and community partners, including law enforcement, courts, corrections, and community non-profits. The project coordinator plans and organizes short-term logistics for the team, serves as the liaison between MSU personnel and community stakeholder, and collects, manages, and analyzes data to inform project goals. The successful candidate will be a team builder with strong interpersonal and communication skills and training in data/crime analysis. Required Degree Masters -Criminal Justice, Data Science, or related Minimum Requirements The candidate will have 1-year experience working on research or training and technical assistance projects. Must have Master's degree by date of hire. Desired Qualifications Experience in data analysis, research report writing, and research assistance.
