About the Role

 

We are currently recruiting for a Project Management role in our Perth based team to deliver multi-disciplinary projects within the water portfolio. The candidate will demonstrate strong project management acumen and relevant industry experience.
 
Reporting to the Project Superintendent, your responsibilities will include:
 

Project managing multi-disciplinary projects on potable water assets adhering to schedule, budget and quality requirements Full lifecycle project management with an owners team mindset including development of business case and investment supporting documentation  Continually seeking opportunities to reduce risk and optimise cost and schedule delivery taking accountability for outcomes and demonstrating control Engage with Engineering sub-functions, Operational teams, Supply and external consultants, contractors, suppliers and vendors to coordinate expertise and support for execution of your projects Ensure that progress on your projects are monitored and reported regularly. Ensure that action is taken to address deviations from the approved baseline schedules Ensure all HSE, technical and commercial risks are identified and managed effectively within your projects Undertake quality field leadership activities, and provide feedback within team and to others Ensure all incidents, near misses and hazards are reported and investigated in compliance with Our Requirements Manage the handover to the Operation and ensuring all relevant change control documentation has been updated to as-built status. Updating of all relevant 1SAP Master Data Changes as required Demonstrate an overriding commitment to the BHP Charter values About You

 

The successful candidate will possess the following:
 

Demonstrated ability to work independently Learning agility – demonstrated ability to learn quickly, taking accountability, ensuring learnings are used as a platform for improvement Proven ability to manage challenges in proactive positive manner, with a problem solving mindset Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders effectively Strong commercial acumen Strong attention to detail Proficiency and confidence to present in both written and oral formats Tertiary qualified or equivalent relevant industry experience Formal project management qualifications and accreditation, or experience within BHP an advantage   About Our Process
