As a QC Specialist, you will be responsible for: + Analytical Testing: Analytical testing of Raw materials and finished product, incoming new formulation, premix trails produced at lab scale and commercial production, existing products to check the right ingredient claim in terms of safety to customer and further use of DSM-F Product. + Quality Strategy: Help develop and implement the quality strategy with global and regional teams. + Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE): Follow SHE guidelines to ensure a safe, compliant, and healthy work environment. + Process Improvement: Continuously improve and maintain quality assurance processes and systems. + HR Compliance: Adhere to HR structures and the DSM-F Code of Conduct in all QA activities. + Budget Management: Manage the QC department budget, minimizing expenses while maintaining quality. + Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with other teams to optimize quality processes and ensure continuous improvement. Equal access to opportunities is a given, belonging is a shared feeling, authenticity is celebrated. **Your key responsibilities:** + Analysis and Method Validation: Perform Vitamin, Mineral, and Heavy Metal analysis on raw materials and finished products; validate methods (HPLC for vitamins, ICP-OES for minerals, ICP-MS for heavy metals). + Hands on experience in HPLC analysis with Software knowledge of Waters-Empower + Instrument Accountability and Maintenance: Oversee core instruments (HPLC, ICP-OES, Auto titrator, TOC analyzer), ensuring proper operation, inventory control, and coordination for maintenance and supplies. + Timely Reporting: Update analysis results promptly to prevent production delays and ensure timely release of premixes to customers. + Instrument Calibration and Preventive Maintenance: Ensure proper calibration and preventive maintenance of lab instruments, coordinating with vendors for repairs and service. + Laboratory Practices and Documentation: Conduct mineral/excipient/wet analysis and maintain good laboratory practices (GLP); ensure proper documentation in line with DSM and audit compliance. + Collaboration and Investigations: Lead joint analysis to resolve customer complaints and vendor issues, as well as perform laboratory investigations when required. **We bring:** + A team of diverse employees who aren’t afraid to think outside of the box. + A truly global and collaborative team that cares about the experience of our employees. + The encouragement you need to develop and achieve personal growth. + A role that is crucial on projects and allows you to build your brand. + A caring and supportive environment where you’re empowered to grow and share your ideas. **You bring:** + Educational:M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry, Chemistry, or Life Sciences with a strong foundation in chemical handling and analysis. + 3-6 years of analytical experience with a focus on Vitamin and Mineral analysis. + You will support analytical testing of premixes and ingredients to ensure timely product release, while continuously improving the quality of products, processes, and quality systems, ultimately delivering the right quality and services to customers. **The application process:** Interested in this position?
