Reporting to the Director – Reporting, Constraints & Benchmarking, the Specialist – Reporting will be responsible for providing reporting visibility to improvement KPIs and value for all Business Improvement activities across the organization, in close collaboration with global Business Improvement, Financial Planning & Analysis, Business Planning, Finance and Operations stakeholders.

The selected candidate must be able to travel domestically and internationally to our operating sites or regional offices to collaborate with site and business leaders.
Develop and deliver value and KPI reporting for all Business Improvement programs, and ensure high-quality, timely, and clear communication of data to a wide variety of stakeholders.Work closely with various teams and departments to ensure alignment, consistency and avoid reporting duplication.Work closely with IT to develop systems and ensure system performance and capability.Develop reporting formats and frequencies to enable operational leadership insights to measure progress and priorities.Continuously monitor and assess business performance.Develop and deliver training, communication and governance on reporting systems and processes.Actively participate in the Full Potential Community of Practice and other opportunities to drive collaboration and business improvement.What We’re Looking For
Education: Relevant qualifications in Mining Engineering, Finance, and/or Project Management, paired with substantial experience in the mining or related industries. A Bachelor’s degree in Mining, Finance, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.Advanced certifications in business performance improvement or data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) would be an advantageRegistration as a practicing professional engineer would be viewed favorablyExperience: Business Improvement experience within the mining or related industries and a understanding of the relationship between performance improvement and value generation is preferred.Reporting experience along with experience cross business analytics, industrial engineering is preferred.Strong analytical thinking and effective communication. Experience with Tableau, Power BI and MS Office applications like Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.Skills: Ability to work effectively with global teams, fostering inclusion, collaboration, and productive outcomes.Strong problem-solving abilities, effective communication, and a collaborative mindset.Understands how to influence or negotiate with others to achieve productive outcomes.Knowledge: Expertise in productivity measurement, strategic reporting, and cross-business analytics.Proficient in tools and techniques for productivity measurement, reporting, and strategic integration are important. The salary range offered for this role is USD $110,100 - $130,000. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s salary history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about salary history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.
This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance.
