Job Description
For our Research Labs at our Site in Schwabenheim (near Mainz), we are looking for Specialist Research IT Platform Support (m/w/d) to join our highly motivated team.
Responsibilities:
Support Pharmaceutical Research with the development, configuration and maintenance of the Research IT systems
Ensure optimal use and availability of Lab IT systems and platforms
Optimize processes as well reconfiguring the systems to ensure fit within Research IT system
Become the subject matter expert in the Research IT system landscape
Support Research IT products and systems through its lifecycle
Make the labs more efficient by analyzing and optimizing their processes
Support the digitalization and cloud strategy of the labs
Work with AWS services and cloud technologies
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (or similar) in Natural Sciences, Information Technology or related field, or a minimum of 3-5 years’ of relevant professional experience (ideally in a lab environment)
Ability to understand and meet the requirements, goals and expectations of the client business in the labs to initiate and implement improvements
Demonstrated system specific expert knowledge (e.g. LIMS or ELN systems)
Experience in a validated environment and understanding of principles of GLP/GMP is a plus
Good communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate in an international environment
Excellent English and German skills, both verbal and written
