As a Specialist - Sales, you will be responsible for managing activities and processes to ensure the Sales organization, including the WDCS Innovation Center, runs effectively, efficiently, and in support of business objectives. You will work with sales teams, including Technology and Solutions Support groups, to coordinate office administrative services, Innovation Center calendar scheduling, sales/company event planning, and other facility support services to enhance sales operations.
Responsibilities:
Continuously analyzes and organizes sales office operations and procedures, including information management, filing systems, supplies requisition, and other services. Schedules and manages the WDCS Innovation Center calendar, coordinating with employees, suppliers, and clients for facility use. Maximizes office productivity through proficient use of appropriate office equipment, hardware, and software applications. Engages with the Technology and Solutions Support team to optimize sales support functions. Understands and aligns with short- and long-term objectives of sales leadership. Researches and develops resources to create timely and efficient workflow processes. Coordinates and executes events required by the sales team and other groups. Manages relationships with local maintenance and supply vendors to ensure office efficiency. Provides technical and procedural guidance to less experienced personnel.Qualifications:
High School Degree or Equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. 2-3 years of experience in inside or outside sales, project management, business development, or operations management. Understanding of and ability to research vertical market conditions, challenges, and trends. Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities effectively. Ability to prospect and market concepts to new and existing customers. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Ability to negotiate inventory strategies and contractual opportunities. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of inventory value and total cost of ownership principles. Proficiency in sales analysis, goal setting, and developing results-oriented activities.
