About the Role
Responsible for conducting quality control tests to ensure that software meets specified standards and end user requirementsPerforms quality assurance and testing, draft, revise and approve test plans and scripts to ensure alignment with standards and information technology strategy, create test data files with valid and invalid records to thoroughly test programme logic and verify system flow, collaborates with users to plan and execute user acceptance testing, ensure that system tests are successfully completed and documented and all problems are resolved, and may develop, revise and approve quality assurance and testing policies, standards and procedures
Key Responsibilities:
Develop clear and concise User Acceptance Test (UAT) Test Plans for digital projects and enhancements
Liaise with stakeholders to ensure test environments and any specific UAT requirements are set up in readiness for test execution
Execute testing and analyze test outputs for accuracy and completeness
Work closely with stakeholders to resolve UAT defects
Report UAT progress and highlight key areas of risk and issues
Work closely with stakeholders to facilitate UAT signoff by ensuring that all functionalities have been tested, defects have been identified and documented, impacts have been assessed, and resolutions provided
Review and signoff User Acceptance Test (UAT) plan with stakeholders
Prepare user guides and provide training to end users on the relevant enhancements
Job Requirements:
Degree: Degree Holder preferably in Business IT, Computer Science or a related discipline
Experience: At least 2-3 years relevant working experience in Insurance Industry
Meticulous and able to manage priorities to meet deadlines
Good communication and interpersonal skills in engaging key stakeholders
Digitally-savvy with a passion for optimising digital experiences
Positive attitude and willingness to share and learn
Ability to work under pressure with minimal guidance and is a team player
