Feel free to enrich both your personal and work life and hop on board! **Why you'll love this job** + As a Specialist II in Employee Receivables, you’ll engage with fellow team members (active, retired, and termed) promptly and professionally over the phone, resolving their inquiries and concerns. You will also assist with managing collection efforts for Employee Receivables team when necessary. + This role is a part of the Accounts Receivables team within the Finance group **What you'll do** + ​Handle incoming and outgoing calls regarding Salary Overpayments. + Exhibit professionalism for servicing accounts and represent the Company in a professional manner. + Provide excellent customer service, answer questions and inquiries. + Strong phone and verbal communication skills including active listening. + Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types. + Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively. + Monitor accounts to identify overdue invoice. + Ability to analyze and resolve invoice and payment discrepancies. + Update account status records and assist with collection efforts. + Collaborate with others on the team involved with collection of accounts. + Collaborate with leadership to meet individual goals and team targets. **All you'll need for success** **Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience** + High School diploma or GED Equivalency **Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience** + 1-2 years’ Accounts Receivable or Collection Specialist experience is preferred. **Skills, Licenses & Certification** + Experience in SAP F1/ability to learn accounting system. + Working knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. + Ability to handle challenging calls, diffuse situations and provide solution. + Knowledge of fundamental accounting and account reconciliations. + Excellent communication skills (written and oral). + Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills. + Must have a very strong work ethic. **What you'll get** Feel free to take advantage of all that American Airlines has to offer: + Travel Perks: Ready to explore the world?
