About the Role


The Rail BOS team are seeking expressions of interest to join our team, implementing high value improvement initiatives and coaching Rail to build their maturity in the BHP Operating System (BOS).

Reporting to the Rail BOS Lead, with a specific focus on building and supporting Standardised Work, your responsibilities will include:
 

Work with frontline to create and deploy Standardised Work.  Facilitate problem-solving sessions to identify the root cause of problems, collaboratively problem-solve and explore opportunities to implement Standardised Work and BOS tools Use data analysis and other scientific methods to help identify and prioritise improvement initiatives. Spend time in field with frontline to help improve frontline processes  Work with relevant stakeholders to plan, build, test and deploy practical solutions to improve Rail Coaching Rail Superintendents, Supervisors and Frontline in BOS principles, practices, and associated tools. Report on rail value performance and progress of improvement initiatives
  About You


As the successful candidate you will be able to demonstrate the following:
 

Relevant experience in leading and coaching roles Experience with data analysis or other analytical methods Time in or working closely with Execution teams Proven ability to lead sustainable improvements and change management Strong problem-solving skills Ability to critically observe, coach, and provide feedback to peers and leadership on improved ways of working Ability to influence and work with teams to collaboratively problem solve Ability to apply systems thinking and analytical methods to drive decisions and improvements Bias to action and interest in implementation Experience with CI methodologies and Standardised Work is desirable
