Position Summary
The tax team is responsible for Samsung Semiconductor’s daily tax operations, tax risk management and ensures an overall tax compliance of our company. Be a business partner for other departments and support the company’s growth as an internal advisor on various tax topics.Role and Responsibilities
Preparation of corporate income tax returns for the European Head office of Samsung Semiconductor Europe and its foreign branches in cooperation with external advisorsCalculation of periodic advance tax paymentsPreparation of monthly tax reports to the Samsung GroupCoordination of tax auditsSupport in various transfer pricing projectsSupport company’s digitalization projectsAct as a contact person for business partners and external advisors for domestic and foreign direct tax related mattersSkills and Qualifications
About You
University degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting or tax, or an apprenticeship training as an accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter/-in IHK) or as a tax accountant (Steuerfachangestellte)Relevant working experience within a tax department of a multinational company or Big4 accounting firmTransfer pricing experience is a plusExcellent numerical and analytical skills with high level of accuracy and attention to detailAbility to organize, prioritize and multi-task under minimum supervisionProactive team player with ability to work in a multi-cultural environmentFluent in English and German (C1), Korean language is a plusBe a part of innovation that makes a real difference in the lives of millions of people worldwide.
