About the Role

 

This is an ideal opportunity for an enthusiastic and proactive candidate to join our Rail Maintenance Training Team working within Rolling Stock Maintenance. We have a strong focus on finding individuals with the right values, capability, and communication skills. and key processes and activities including; Ore Car Maintenance and High Risk Work.  

 

Reporting to the Rail Maintenance Training Supervisor, your duties will include:

 

Ensure conformance with the BHP Charter, BHP Group Level Documents, Code of Conduct and relevant statutory obligations An overriding commitment to health, safety, environmental responsibility and sustainable development Complying with rail safe working requirements Drive an inclusive and diverse culture Engage with, and deliver solutions for, our customers Participate enthusiastically in core routines and BOS principles Strong commitment to the field leadership program Participate in driving a continuous improvement culture within the training team. Delivery and facilitation of Training Packages Creating, reviewing & updating Training Packages Verifying & assessing the competency of operators in field Administering training related documentation & systems Planning and scheduling of training courses and assessments
  About You

 

Skills and Experience:

 

Essential - Ore Car Maintenance Experience  Highly Desirable - A Certificate IV Training & Assessing (TAE 40122 or TAE40116) or Assessors Skill Set (TAESS00019) Highly Desirable – Mechanical Trade Qualification Desirable - Familiarity across multiple ore car areas of operation (MOCRS, NPOCRS, Examiners) HRWL (Dogging, EWP, Forklift) WA ‘C’ class driver’s license Demonstrated experience in Training, Assessing & Facilitation Sound communication skills, with the demonstrated ability to work with multiple stakeholders. Ability to Create & Review Training related documentation Coordination & planning of training related activities Experience with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook)
