Lifestyle Roster
This position will work on our Lifestyle Roster, working a pattern of days, with a block of days off at the end of each swing.
Employees on this roster enjoy two full weekends off out of four and will align to the following shift rotation: 4D5X, 5D4X, 5D5X. Shifts are 12.5 hours including handover and you will benefit from additional shift allowances, as part of your remuneration package. As an added benefit, those on a Lifestyle Roster will also enjoy an additional week of annual leave per year.
About the Role
Reporting to the Lead Engineer Fixed Plant Control, you will ensure all Plant Controllers are trained and capable to perform their roles. As a Plant Control Specialist Trainer, you will be responsible for the development, upkeep and execution of the Plant Control training methodology, including learning outcomes, manuals, assessment criteria and presentation material.
Key responsibilities include:
Ensure conformance with the BHP Charter, the BHP Group Level Documents, Code of Conduct and relevant statutory obligations An overriding commitment to health, safety, environment responsibility and sustainable development Liaise with WAIO Fixed Plant Controls Superintendent, Supervisors and Engineers to ensure that all training delivered is specific to the requirements of the employees in the department Ensure all employees within IROC Plant Control are compliant in the role they are undertaking Train and assess for role specific competency (theory and practical) profiles for Plant Control Identify training and assessment requirements and develop training plans to execute Ensure all training packages comply with National and BHP Learning & Development quality standards where applicable Liaise with Plant Control Supervisors to ensure theirs and their teams training needs are met Update and develop the training and assessment tools Update and develop work instructions and procedures Maintain records of completed training and ensure records in 1SAP and LMS are up to date for the Plant Control team Assist and support audits of on-the-job training and assessing to ensure that training standards are met Assist as SME in administrating the Plant Control area About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess the following:
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116 (Desired) Significant experience in a fixed plant control operation Notable experience in plant operations in a fixed plant production environment Expertise in developing and delivering training materials Ability to develop others through coaching, mentoring, rewarding and guiding Nurture and guide change in a complex environment Skills in presenting, coaching, evaluating and facilitating Competence with Microsoft office/365 products and learning management systems Self-motivated person who thrives in an autonomous work environment About Our Process
