Specialized Financial Reporting Manager

Role purpose:

Provide support and generate reliable tools to generate detailed analysis of the Bank's and subsidiaries results for Mexico and Latin America, its financial statements (PL and Balance Sheet) by business line in order to provide useful financial reports. Generate financial reporting for the local and international regulator for proper decision-making for business and stakeholders. Technical and analytical capacity is required that allows it to act as a second line of defense for financial information and provide certainty and added value to the information used.

Main activities:

Maintain reliable and dynamic systems that allow timely reflection of the requirements for analysis and presentation of information.Apply the new initiatives from HSBC headquarters that are relevant for the region/country and that can provide valu added for Mexico - LATAM.Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to both the Group and the Local Regulators.Management with various internal areas to ensure the correct and timely delivery of information, monthly and annual estimates, (for Mexico - LATAM).Ensure that risks and areas of opportunity are effectively and timely attacked to ensure the quality of financial information for Mexico - LATAM.Ensure the correct distribution of income by PL line, business line and products in local systems.Attention to internal and external audits.Monitoring and remediation of data quality problems.Identify initiatives to establish a more effective control environment to support the integrity of delivered results.
