The purpose of this job is to perform servicing functions for more complex commercial, small business and consumer loans such as participations, SBA loans, adjustable rate and tax-exempt loans. Additionally, the position services both consumer and commercial non-accrual loans.

 

**This position may be filled as a level I or II based on additional experience and qualifications required.**

Responsibilities Perform servicing functions including reviewing wires, checks, confirmation letters and posted payments on more complex loansConduct research on bank records such as loan and participation agreements to ensure transactions are in accordance with all documented requirements Post payments and review tax exempt loans for reconcilement with government entitiesPlace or remove loans from non-accrualFrequently communicate with loan officers, assistants, government entities and other financial institutions to resolve problems and ensure loans are accurately servicedPerform other duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or GEDMinimum two (2) years’ experience in banking or similar financial services company roleBasic knowledge of loan products and operational loan structureBasic understanding of both commercial and consumer loan payment structureKnowledge of both commercial and consumer loan compliance regulations preferredAbility to effectively manage time and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environmentDisplay strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skillsProvide excellent customer service skillsAbility to effectively use Microsoft Office and other document management type softwareTwo-year college education preferredMinimum one (1) year experience in a loan servicing or lending related role for both commercial and consumer loans preferred

Additional qualifications required for Level II:
