Specialty Clinic Office Coordinator
Position Summary: The Specialty Clinic Office Coordinator functions as a focal point of communications; coordinates clerical activities, manages financial records, daily charges and liaisons with the business office. They are primarily responsible for insurance billing, pre-certification, and financial counseling of all accounts. Preforms all admissions and discharge registration functions#as required. Qualifications: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent with at least one year of general medical office or hospital experience. Must have a general knowledge of medical terminology. Experience with coordination of scheduling and patient flow required. CPR certification preferred or ability to attain within three months probation period.# Willingness to keep up with current Medicare, Medicaid and insurance regulations and attend necessary seminars and workshops.
