GENERAL FUNCTION:
Responsible for the generation and growth of volume within an assigned territory. Maximizes Fifth Third's penetration in that market. Provide remote customer service and training to dealership personnel, as well as maintenance and collection of dealer accounts (negative reserves, drafts, etc.).
Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank’s risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Independently develops and maintains volume levels exceeding assigned territory objectives.Leads effort to maximize penetration levels in dealerships through performance ratios by continually tracking applications, approvals, bookings, and quality of submissions/paperwork.Drives market expansion by identifying and closing key dealers that can be strategic partners.Serves as liaison between dealers and each 5/3 department.Develops and nurtures dealership personnel relationships through training, deal structuring, credit involvement, assisting in paperwork, and working deals.Assists Regional Sales Manager in developing, mentoring, and training Specialty Dealer Development Reps.Proactively provides competitive intelligence and competitive pricing strategy to senior leadership.Establish/maintain relationships with Dealer Principals and key personnel in dealerships via telephone and/or regular travel to assigned territory.MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
High School diploma required or equivalent.
