Status: Full Time (40 hours)
Shift: M-F Days 8:00-4:30; 8:30-5pm, 9:30-6:00 (rotating shifts)
Weekend: Occasional Saturdays between 8:30 to 5pm.
Location: Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA
Required qualifications
Virginia Pharmacy Technician License
Previous experience as Pharmacy Technician
Preferred qualifications:
PTCB or NHA certification preferred
Third-party online adjudication experience
Pharmacy billing experience
Outpatient pharmacy or long-term care experience
Knowledge of patient financial assistance programs
Specialty, retail outpatient, long-term care, or mail-order pharmacy experience
Job responsibilities:
Outbound and inbound calls handling patient concerns or complaints, serving as a subject matter expert within different areas of the pharmacy, training and/or being a resource for fellow employees, inventory management, and troubleshooting IT or system-related issues
