Specialty Products Account Manager

Our Sales and Account Management team is hiring a Specialty Products Account Manager.  The Account Manager will serve as the liaison between BCBST carriers, brokers, and groups.  This role involves educating and assisting clients, brokers, and carriers regarding our ancillary branded and non-branded products with an emphasis on the non-branded products.  The ideal candidate is confident, has excellent communication skills, has experience in customer service and account management, and possesses a strong understanding of ancillary products. We are seeking someone who is customer-focused, detail-oriented, enjoys multitasking, and is eager to join our team!

Job Responsibilities

Communicating effectively with and coordinating the efforts of key underwriting, administration, loss control and claims staff in support of one or more major clients.Analyzing business needs, loss experience and other factors with key customers to regularly adjust products, services and terms received and address customer needs.Developing new business opportunities; building and managing long-term relationships with one or more existing/potential major clients within the assigned territory.Maintaining a database for a full range of company products, services, target markets and underwriting priorities; ensuring all related practices are consistent with organizational policies and processes.

Job Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required. Equivalent experience is defined as 4 years of professional work experience in a corporate environment

Experience

3 years – Customer service or Account management experience in group service required.

Skills\Certifications

Extensive knowledge of all Specialty lines of business including branded and non-branded ancillary products, billing, customer service, implementation, proposal generation, renewal processing and enrollment
