Specification Leader - GI Middle East, Levant and Egypt

Job Description:

We are currently looking for a Sr. Specifications Leader to join us at our facility in Dubai, UAE.

The purpose of this role is to deal with architects, industrial designers, and indirect customers involved in the decision process and sell our products with added value according to each project´s specification, to pull our sales from the key decision-maker. You will be part of the EMEA Specifications Team, reporting directly to the EMEA Specifications Manager and you will work closely to the powder sales team in the region.

- Responsibilities and Goals:

a) Goals:

Research, identify, and build strong relationships with key influencers in the architect & industrial designers community, Aluminium system houses, and façade companies.Secure appointments and conduct meetings/presentations to key decision makers and influencers with the goal of specifying Axalta products in projects. (in person when possible or online/Teams meetings)Consult with coating specification and provide samples and relevant support &product informationKey account management and liaise with senior management and focus on megaprojects,

b) Work to Be known among our target audience:

Design and organize events or customer visits  in our local Color Experience Rooms, meet influencers on their site or online and attend relevant networking events as Axalta Powder Coating Representative.Stay on top of architectural  trends and needs, follow and actively use social media communication channelsConduct seminars& trainings with architects, designers and target audienceGet references for the won projects

c) Create Axalta ambassadors:

Promote Colour Walls among target audiencePromote cobranded catalogues & fan decksTrain the SF of our partners to be able to sell the added value of our products

d) Internal Collaboration:

Active participation in the EMEA specifications teamActive Collaboration with Sales team, support key accounts, participation at events together.

 - Key requirements:

At least 10 years’ experience working with our TOP tier target customers. Key account management expertiseExcellent Knowledge of the value chain and the industry. Important network and excellent reputationStrong interest in the architectural businessKnowledge of powder coatings,  is an advantage but is not mandatoryExcellent presentation, Communication & interpersonal skillsMastering value selling and able to sell performance and designAt ease in dealing with senior architects, project managers and demanding customersComputer Savvy - Extremely savvy with Web research and comfortable in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.Education – University degree in Sales, marketing or architecture.Good oral and written Knowledge of English. Ideally, fluent in local language
