Specification Sales Representative sought by the windows division of a global, £multibillion plastics manufacturer with close to 200 locations worldwide, to cover their Midlands & South East region, down to north of London.
You can be based on patch in any of the following regions: Home Counties, Cambridgeshire Essex, Norfolk, West Midlands, Warwickshire, East Midlands, Worcestershire, Gloucestershire, Wales etc
The Role:
Joining a team of 7 and reporting to the Head of Sales, as Specification Sales Representative, your responsibilities will include:
Selling the company’s full range of window and door solution products for use in commercial developments / refurbishments. Product range includes: flush fit windows, vertical windows, sliding doors, Juliet balconiesDeveloping relationships with key architects, specifiers, developers, consultants and contractorsDeveloping client base with a particular focus on the Midlands areaPromoting the company’s new product rangeGenerating product / system specifications in line with targeted expectationsWorking closely with commercial fabricators and installers to defend specificationsDeveloping, hosting and delivering technical presentations such as CPD seminars for architects and other construction professionalsAchieving targets based on quotes, projects won, CPDs performedThe successful Specification Sales Representative should demonstrate:
A proven track record of sales success in the windows, doors, or associated industries e.g. ironmongery, hinges etc. uPVC, aluminium, timber, alucladTrack record of specification salesAbility to promote new product rangesExperience of medium-to-long term lead timesProject ledKnowledge of wind loadings and the fabric of a buildingA confident presentation performerAbility to interact with and draw upon a wide range of supporting servicesA collaborative personality with a desire to build relationships both internally and with clientsBenefits:
