REQUIREMENTS:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology
Licensed to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Texas
Two (2) years experience preferred
SUMMARY:
Provide appropriate therapy to assigned students; knowledge of planning and scheduling techniques; Knowledge of speech-language pathology theory and practice; ability to develop and present staff developments regarding speech in public schools; Ability to communicate effectively, orally, and in writing; ability to supervise, advise, and train assistants; Score and interpret test data, and write reports based on findings; Evaluate effectiveness of speech-language programs; Educate and consult with parents and teachers regarding speech disabilities in special education students.
