This school district prefers a Bilingual SLP for this role, but they are also open to Monolingual SLPs.

Your expertise will help shape futures as you conduct evaluations and deliver compassionate, effective therapy to diverse learners across our district. You’ll work at a primary base school, but your talents will also support district-wide needs one day a week, ensuring you stay connected with your peers and continually grow in your practice.

What You’ll Do:

Conduct bilingual (English/Spanish) OR monolingual evaluations and therapy for elementary students, guiding them toward improved communication skills.Deliver innovative, student-centered interventions tailored to each child’s needs in both English and Spanish.Collaborate with an inspiring team of 7 bilingual SLPs, sharing strategies and supporting each other as you help students across the district.Be a trusted advocate for students, working closely with teachers, parents, and administrators to ensure the best outcomes.Balance consistency with variety as you work primarily from a base building while also providing critical support to the wider district one day a week.Other duties to be assigned.

Job Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is preferred, but not required. Monolingual SLPs are encouraged to apply, too!Hold a PEL certification with a Speech Language Pathology endorsement in Illinois.Prior experience working with elementary-aged children is a plus, but above all, you bring a commitment to helping every student reach their full potential.Pay and Benefits:AnthroMed Team Members who work 30+ hours per week are eligible for the full-time employee benefits offered by AnthroMed.The pay range for this position is $54,000-67,000 annually. Hourly pay is also an option.Paid Time Off starts at 6 days and is prorated based on the start date.Benefits begin the first of the month after the start date.
